Before Your Visit

Check-In

Please review some important points in regards to our Check-In procedures below:


Please arrive on time for your appointment and keep your pet leashed or safely contained at all times. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule. Please make sure we have your pet’s current rabies vaccination on file, or bring it with you. We cannot perform services without a current rabies record. If you arrive early, no problem! You may need to wait a few minutes while your groomer finishes another pet. During check-in, we’ll review your pet’s haircut with you. Please be as specific as possible or bring photos. If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to make recommendations. If your pet is severely matted, we may need to reschedule to allow enough time for safe grooming. Please let us know before your appointment about any illnesses, medical concerns, lumps, bumps, or dislikes such as nail trims, handling certain areas, or dog aggression. This helps us create the safest and most comfortable experience for everyone.


Needed Paperwork

All pets 14 weeks of age and older must be current on their rabies vaccination, unless a written exemption from your veterinarian is provided. We must have a rabies vaccination record on file before any services can be performed. No exceptions.

Late Arrival

We understand that things happen, and we appreciate a quick call if you’re running late. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time, we may need to reschedule your appointment and reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. Our appointments are booked back-to-back, and late arrivals can impact the time needed to safely groom your pet as well as delay other scheduled appointments. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Cancellations

We understand that life happens and sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel, please call us or email info@vanityfursalon.com at least 24 hours before your appointment. Our groomers work on commission, and late cancellations are often difficult to fill.

  • More than 24 hours notice: No cancellation fee
  • Same-day cancellation: 50% cancellation fee
  • No call / No show: 100% cancellation fee

Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

Check-Out

Please arrive on time to pick up your pet. We are a by-appointment-only salon with limited crate space, so extended stays are not preferred. If you’re running late, please call and let us know. Pick-ups more than 30 minutes after notification may be subject to a kenneling fee.

For everyone’s safety, please keep your pet leashed or safely contained during check-out. We kindly ask that you review your pet’s haircut before leaving the salon and let us know right away if anything needs attention. We reserve the right to decline adjustments requested more than 24 hours after your pet has left the salon.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit/debit cards. Please note that customers choosing to pay by credit/debit card are responsible for a 3.99% processing fee. Cash and checks do not have a fee. Tips are kindly accepted in cash or Venmo only.
